How to Succeed with Facility Capital Investments in China (Session 102)
Sunday 6 November 13.00 – 17.00
ISPE CEUs: 0.35
The pharmaceutical industry is building fewer facilities in the traditional locations of North and Central America, Europe and Singapore. Instead it is moving to newer locations such as China. Project team members from outside China may have many years of experience in project management practice, but coming to China presents them with a range of new cultural, organizational, regulatory and even meteorological challenges to deal with during the execution of their project. Whether working for a large or small pharmaceutical firm, generic manufacturer or contract manufacturer, building an office, warehouse, R&D facility, a bulk API plant, or a pharmaceutical facility, the expatriate new to the region needs to understand and take account of these challenges in planning and executing the project.
