Project Implementation and execution consists of the processes used to complete the work defined in the project plan to accomplish the project's requirements. Execution processes involves coordinating people and resources, as well as integrating and performing the activities of the project in accordance with the project management plan. The deliverables are produced as outputs from the processes performed as defined in the project management plan and other frameworks that might be applicable to the type of project at hand.

Session Description

The fourth session in this series will explore Project Implementation using IT Infrastructure Project Case Studies, balanced against the processes described in the ISPE Good Practice Guide: Project Management and GAMP. The session will include hands-on, detail-oriented processes that result in a positive, collaborative leadership style for projects in IT compliance, program planning, business process improvement, validation program implementation, process and systems analysis, IT software system selection and implementation, network and datacenter operations and implementation.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

Understand the role of project management during project implementation
Apply project management skills throughout the project
Describe the tasks required to manage a project throughout the lifecycle
