The Marriott Marquis offers ISPE meeting attendees a discounted hotel rate of US$274. This rate is offered until 10 October 2012 or until the room block is full, whichever comes first. In order to qualify for the discounted ISPE hotel rate, each delegate must be fully registered for the Annual Meeting as an education delegate, committee member, speaker, or exhibitor.

ISPE attendees have a discounted daily rate of US$7.95, the following features are available in your guest room:

Nonrefundable Deposit

A deposit of one night (US$316.72 including taxes) is required to hold your room reservation and is nonrefundable after 17 October 2012. Credit cards will be charged one night as of 18 October. Please complete the credit card information in full in order to have a guaranteed reservation.

Cancellation Policy

Guests cancelling their stay after 18.00 on the day of check in will be charged their full stay. Please note that if you do not arrive on the first day of your room reservation, the Marriott Marquis will charge you a no-show fee equal to one night and may not have a hotel room available when you arrive. Please remember to contact the hotel if you are delayed.

Upgrade Requests

Please make your reservation through ISPE first. Then you can contact Michael Lopez - michael.j.lopez@marriott.com to ask about room upgrade options. He will ask you for your reservation acknowledgement number to verify you have registered with ISPE first.

Weather and What to Wear 

Meeting delegates are encouraged to dress business casual. The temperatures in November range from highs of 63°F/17°C and lows of 50°F/10°C. Temperatures in meeting rooms tend to be mild, a light sweater or jacket would be recommended. For current weather information, check www.weather.com
