About the Engineering Standards Benchmarking COP

The ESB COP has more than 2,500 members representing owners (manufacturing and R&D), consultants, and engineering firms and suppliers (equipment and materials) worldwide with primary participation from North America, Europe and Asia.  The ESB COP issue surveys and gather relevant information to produce knowledge briefs, technical E-letters, Webinars, and educational programs.

COP Mission

The goal of the ESB COP is to improve the processes for the creation/approval/maintenance and use of corporate engineering standards and specifications in the pharmaceutical industry. Through benchmarking activities and surveys, the COP considers the hierarchy of documents, variance processes, and alignment on how architecture and engineering firms use standards and specifications. The expected benefits include consistently approaching project delivery, effectively using limited resources, leveraging outside resources, and ensuring cGMP and EHS requirements.

How to Get Involved

As an ESB COP member you can access technical discussions or download presentations or files. You can complete a volunteer profile and share your expertise with the community.  Note that only ISPE Members can engage in these activities.
