ISPE Carolina-South Atlantic Chapter Remembers Tom Montgomery

Thomas Milburn Montgomery passed away on February 11, 2007 in Raleigh. Tom was born in Phillips County, AR on June 20, 1957. He attended the University of Arkansas and graduated in 1988 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Tom later obtained his Professional Engineering license, and was employed by O'Brien/Atkins Associates in Durham as the Director of Electrical Engineering.

Tom served as Chair of the Carolina-South Atlantic Chapter's Membership Committee and was a member of the Board of Directors from 2002 - 2003. He was a Member of ISPE since 1999.

Tom had many varied interests and hobbies which included his passion for playing guitars, fishing and boating, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends. He had a terrific sense of humor and was a pleasure to be with, making those around him feel special. His faith was of great importance.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria; daughter, Hannah; son, Nathan. Also, his mother, Bonnie Montgomery of Ward, AR; father, Thomas Montgomery, Sr. of West Helena, AR; brothers, Steve Montgomery of Mountain Home, AR, Chip Montgomery of Ward, AR and many loving family and friends.
