Events | ISPE

The ISPE Boston Area Chapter offers educational programs as well as social/networking events. Social events include an annual golf tournament, holiday social, and ski trip, as well as other one-time networking functions. We offer two types of educational programs (see individual list of events below):

Talking Shop

An interactive round-table format where members (usually 30-60 people) can learn from technical professionals and one another, discuss new technologies, share experiences, and problems, and share "real world" solutions with their colleagues. Topics are focused on a single subject/issue and all are expected to contribute to the discussion and have issues or experience on the topic.

Seminars

Lectures are delivered by 2 to 3 presenters on set topics by industry knowledgeable people, followed by a question and answer period. Topics tend to be high in level of detail, and may span a wide range in subject matter such as regulatory, quality, engineering, projects, development, validation, utilities, and facilities. Attendance at these programs runs from 60 to 120 people.
