ISPE's University Relations Committee spearheads numerous initiatives and focus groups aimed at developing university-based education programs and courses required today to train the types of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry professionals we will need in the future.

Industry Focus Groups for Curriculum Development
The ISPE Industry Focus Groups compiled and prioritized a list of skills, knowledge and attributes that they believe are critical to working within the pharmaceutical industry. Out of this, it was determined that for new hires in the industry, there were gaps between the knowledge obtained academically and the knowledge needed for the industry. The data collected have been provided to help educators identify potential areas of focus in subject matter and curricula for courses and degrees pertaining to the pharmaceutical industry.
