Enabling On-Demand: A Practical Alternative to the Traditional Method of Packaging and Labeling of Clinical SuppliesSession Type: Recorded Webinar
Presently, adaptive trial design presses the limits of traditional packaging and labeling requiring companies to rethink their processes. The time has come for clinical supply chain managers to incorporate best practices which include On-Demand packaging and labeling. This program will look at differences between On-Demand and "traditional" packaging and labeling, and the impact of enabling On-Demand. This is the first program on On-Demand packaging and labeling for clinical supplies offered by ISPE. Speaker Finken has been president of CSM® since its incorporation in January 1997. He has extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. He started his career in clinical supplies with Bristol-Myers Squibb (originally E.R. Squibb & Sons, Inc.) where he took part in a wide range of activities from sterile manufacturing to reconciliation, and global clinical supplies logistics. At PRACS Institute, Finken developed and ran its new site management organization division. Prior to founding CSM, he worked as an independent clinical supplies consultant, working on numerous projects for biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients. He received his Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy from Rutgers College of Pharmacy and his Masters in Management Systems Analysis from Kean College of New Jersey, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Most recently, Finken was awarded the North Dakota Pharmacy Association Innovative Pharmacy Award for 2007. Who Should Participate Agenda Topics
