Dear New England Chapter Members, Join us in celebrating the successes of Summer, and looking ahead to a productive Fall! I am happy to report that our fellow New England Chapter Members have taken great advantage of our recent opportunities for networking while enjoying all that a New England Summer has to offer! We held our third successful Family Night at Dodd Stadium, with nearly 100 members and their families arriving to cheer on the Connecticut Defenders. Luckily, our patrons dodged the rain and enjoyed a wonderful summer night ending in the Defenders beating their opponents. A more detailed account of the night can be found in this newsletter. In addition to Family Night, our 15th annual Golf Tournament was held at Sterling National Country Club on July 15th. We lucked out with great weather for our players. A great new addition to this year’s tournament was our charitable component; a portion of our raffle ticket sales was donated to NORD (National Organization for Rare Disorders). My thanks go out to Kevin Chronley and all those who assisted him in pulling off this awesome event. Great news- we have finalized the dates for BioPharma 2009! Mark your calendars for May 7th, 2009. We are fortunate enough to be returning to the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, Rhode Island for this event. Keep on the lookout for vendor information- coming out in October. We hope to have an even more successful event than last year. We will certainly need all of your support to top the success of 2008! In the meantime, the New England Chapter is always looking for new ideas from its members. Do you have an idea that you think we could use for a networking or educational meeting? Perhaps something we have yet to try? We welcome your input! Please contact me (tulsa.scott@cagents.com) or the chapter office (neispe@ispe.org) with your contact information and your ideas. Or simply get in touch and find out how you can get involved in our existing programs and events. Again, many thanks to all of our members for their continued support of the New England Chapter. Enjoy the rest of your summer, Tulsa Scott Page last updated: 14 July 2008 |
