Welcome to the ISPE Puerto Rico Chapter

About the Chapter

The ISPE Puerto Rico Chapter is a non profit organization for technical and manufacturing professionals in the Pharmaceutical and Bio-Processing industries. The Steering Committee was formed in 2001 and the Chapter was officially recognized on April 2, 2002. The Chapter currently has more than 400 active members and is located in one of the most densely populated geographical Bio/Pharm areas in the world.

Elected committees, consisting of representatives of the pharmaceutical industry, engineering companies and vendor companies that service the industry manage the Puerto Rico Chapter.

Each year the Chapter holds a complete program of events consisting of seminars, trainings, plant tours and visits to universities to promote the objectives of ISPE. Monthly Chapter meetings and special events are held.

The main objective of the Board of Directors is to provide Chapter members with opportunities to develop technical knowledge by exchanging practical experience and information with each other and all the regulatory agencies. In addition, the Chapter provides continued education conferences and training courses and sponsors and supports Interphex Puerto Rico each winter.
