Recorded Date: August 2005
Course Type: Recorded On-line Seminar
Speaker:
Speaker David A. Gottschlich, Ph.D.
Whether they're related to project definition, detailed engineering, project management, or construction management, the "soft costs" for engineering and management (E&M) are a necessary evil. While project managers throughout the industry struggle to keep these costs down, all would agree that the alternative - an unmanaged project - would be far worse. This Recorded On-line Seminar will describe typical E&M costs and how they vary by project type. For comparison, we will show how E&M costs in the pharmaceutical industry compare with those of other process industry projects. Finally, we will present some of the drivers of E&M costs.
