Welcome to the ISPE Australasia Affiliate

The ISPE Australasia Affiliate was incorporated in 1997 after a 2 year gestation period. It currently has more than 300 members.

The Affiliate is an incorporated Australian Proprietary Limited Company and in keeping with ISPE international guidelines is a 'not for profit' organisation.

The Affiliate currently consists of four Chapters, based in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and New Zealand. The Sydney Chapter currently supports New South Wales. The Melbourne Chapter supports Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia. The Brisbane Chapter supports the Queensland area. Of course, New Zealand is supported by the New Zealand Chapter.

The Board consists of twenty volunteer directors, all of which are professionals in the industry. As a minimum, the Board meets every second month and holds an annual general meeting, usually in November. Chapter committees meet on a regular basis.

Our members come from diverse backgrounds, which range from areas of manufacturing, fabrication, engineering and the sciences. However all are primarily employed in healthcare / life sciences technology sectors.

The Australasia Affiliate works in conjunction with ISPE internationally to extend benefits to local members and to promote networking between professionals within the pharmaceutical industry. Our aim is to deliver a programme throughout the year that is beneficial to our membership and addresses the current concerns issues within the industry.
