Although ISPE POLAND is still one of the smallest affiliates, as a result of the implementation of new strategy, more opened towards the needs of the industry, since June last year the number of ISPE members increased by 100% and the membership curve is still on the increase.

We also has successfully started a Student Chapter at Medical Academy at Gdansk and since April this year there have been several meetings at universities of the ISPE Poland board members with students to present to them benefits from the closer cooperation with the industry while studying.

The newest ISPE POLAND NEWSLETTER has been issued. It is addressed to the whole industry and provided in an electronic and interactive form. The newsletter includes three major sections such as Communication, Regulatory Changes and Forum. The last section provides the professionals with opportunities for scientific based debates regarding hot topics and is a strong tool to promote industry experts. We are glad to see also international experts willing to publish and share their knowledge in the newsletter. The newsletter is issued to ISPE members and to non-ISPE members free of charge, and its main objective is to educate and promote the concept of ISPE.

8-9 June 2006
In Warsaw ISPE POLAND organized Training Workshops for Qualified Persons called QP FORUM. The up-to date highly interactive sessions focused on tools relating to risk management, problem solving  and decision making processes. The QPs  provided excellent feedback to this initiative and decided to continue the  formula of QP Forum in a similar form to Communities of Practice developed for other topics by ISPE.

10-11 May 2006
ISPE POLAND during a NIR conference at Poznan, Poland, proposed to a wide audience form the industry, academia and authorities a NIR FORUM forming this way a local Community of Practice which will be operating as a part of global ISPE PAT community. This initiative was received with great interest and hope to facilitate the professionals communication, development and networking.

ISPE POLAND joined Affiliate Manager, whose major role is to provide support to ISPE Poland Board in implementation of the established strategy and ensure that the ISPE organization in Poland is not only meeting but also exceeding the expectations of the local community.

24-25 November 2005
ISPE POLAND Board developed a new vision, followed by a medium term strategy and communicated this information to the public.
