Welcome to the ISPE Poland Affiliate

Polish Affiliate was founded in 2001. The number of ISPE members had grown regularly, so there was a natural idea to establish a polish affiliate of the organization. The first Board of Directors was made of five people: Marek Ruzikowski, Chairman of the Board, Andrzej Szarmanski, Vice-Chairman, Zdzislaw Mroczek Vice-Chairman, Barbara Kawalko-Myslinska, Secretary and Andrzej Tyrala, Treasurer.

The most important dates from the Polish Affiliate history:

• 2001 - foundation of the ISPE Poland
• 04.2002 - registration in National Judicial Register
• 03.2005 - first Newsletter issued
• 04.2006 - Affiliate Manager employed

It now represents a diverse array of professionals from a variety of industries connected with the pharmaceutical market in Poland. The affiliate is giving the opportunity to network and share experiences with colleagues and experts in the local and global area. Number of active members is now reaching 100 individuals and is growing fast.

ISPE Poland wants to become the leading affiliate in the CEE region and to develop the strong position in Europe. To achieve this role, we want to:

• arrange national and international conference on the best scientific and organizational level,
• participate in international groups processing directions,
• translate the directions and guidelines into polish,
• work out the "best practices", which would be the model for other affiliates.
