What our members say

I first joined ISPE when I was a 28-year-old manager of maintenance. I wanted to get active in an organization of professionals who had a passion for making a difference. ISPE is the only society that provides a global opportunity for members of the industry, regulators, and academics to come together to analyze current approaches and find more effective solutions to the challenges facing us today.

Timothy Tyson, President/CEO

Area Information and Things to Do

Located only a few hundred feet across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., Arlington’s proximity to the nation’s capital has created a common history, connecting it to Washington, D.C. from very day the city was first conceived. Originally part of the 10-mile square boundary of the Capital City, Arlington played a central role in the birth of the nation’s capital, and in the formation of this country. Embedded in the history of this great city, visitors will find deep ties that bound Arlington to Washington, and the unbroken thread that wove its way through the national fabric, beginning with the founding fathers, and ending with the modern-day heroes.
