Speaker/Instructor Bios - Norman Goldschmidt
Norman Goldschmidt is the Senior Director of Engineering Strategy and Design in Global Engineering at Bristol-Myers Squibb. In this role his organization is responsible to conceive, plan and design every facet of facilities necessary to deliver drug products to market, from Discovery and Development through Manufacture, Packaging and Delivery of all types of Drug Product.

In previous positions at BMS Norman has served as Director for Finishing Facility Design, R&D Projects and Research Facility Strategy. His other roles within BMS have included: Associate Director of Engineering Technical Services, Associate Director for Standards and Specifications, Mechanical Engineering Group Manager and Senior Mechanical Engineer.

Prior to joining BMS, Norman was engaged as the Director of Engineering for Innovation Associates in Johnson City, New York and as a Staff Engineer at Fadco, also in Johnson City.

Mr. Goldschmidt studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Buffalo and Business at Empire State College. He holds 4 patents for innovations in HVAC and Pharmaceutical Processing, is a member and author on several ISPE, ASHRAE and ISO technical committees and is a frequent guest lecturer for ISPE, ASHRAE and others.
