Gerard “Jerry” Guillorn serves as Vice President of sector development at Structure Tone, a $3 Billion International Construction firm. A seasoned professional, Jerry has over 30 years experience in the design and construction arena, with the last 15 specializing in life science research facilities. This experience includes new and renovated facilities for a wide variety of research spaces, including biology, chemistry, instrumentation, vivarium, and biotech, including involvement in a BSL-4 facility. A partial list of clients include Amgen, Bayer, Bristol-Myers Squibb, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck, Novartis, Pfizer, Roche, Sanofi-Aventis, Schering-Plough, Schering AG, Wyeth, NIH, UMDNJ, and the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. A degreed Marketing professional, Jerry is active in ISPE on the national and local level, as a member of the North American Education Committee as well as past President of the NJ Chapter. His involvement in ISPE and other organizations such as IFMA, BOMA, SMPS and BIO, has led to speaking engagements at ISPE (National and Local), Tradeline, CBI, and TurnKey. Jerry is a contributor to the ISPE Baseline Guide to Laboratories, and has co-authored articles for Biotech and the NJISPE Newsletter.
