Kevin Lear

Kevin has over 30 years of extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. He is recognized as an experienced Project Manager who has consistently delivered projects involving building systems such as modular Disposable Bioreactors, Mixers and Modular DSP (Down Stream Process) equipment including managing personnel and budget/schedules to procure and build modular Stainless Steel process Separation skid systems for a Biofuels manufacturing facility in Louisiana. Kevin also has proven experience in managing installations such as the installation of high purity water and biologics projects for biotechnology firms including AMGEN, Abbott Bioresearch Center and Biogen. Kevin’s expertise further includes commissioning and qualification of quality processes for medical device assembly and manufacturing improvement. Kevin was previously at Xcellerex Corporation where he served as Director of Project Management for Flex factory builds. In this role he was responsible for resource allocation and budgeting for Disposable Bioreactors, Mixers and Downstream processing equipment. Kevin used a methodical approach to identify, source, deliver and manage the product integration and in house testing for timely release of products to customers. Prior to joining Xcellerex, Kevin has held various senior roles in Engineering, Design and Project management at organizations that include Integrated Process Technologies, Process Facilities Inc (PFI), Ciba Corning Diagnostics, BioKinetics, ACT Medical and Kimberly Clark. Kevin is originally from London, UK, and graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering from the North East London Polytechnic.
