Jim Gazvoda specializes in strategic business planning for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry including programming, design, and construction of a variety of complex, high-technology facilities. He is one of Flad’s most experienced planners for projects including clinical processing and commercial-scale manufacturing, QC testing, R&D laboratories, and developmental scale-up pilot facilities. As an accomplished national speaker, he has presented at numerous seminars on topics relating to current trends in the industry. Jim is well versed in NIH, CDC, CFR, ISPE and FDA guidelines as they apply to corporate, healthcare and academic environments. His recent clients include Novartis, Baxter, Johnson & Johnson, Genentech, Pfizer (Wyeth), Amgen, Lilly, GlaxoSmithKline, Bayer, and Eisai. Jim earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
