Mario Don Porto Carero is a Senior Principal Engineer, HVAC. In this role he has global responsibility for the Standard Design Platforms HVAC and Cleanrooms within the Worldwide Engineering organization (WWE&TO) of J&J. He is an engineer with experience in overall HVAC system design; commissioning and troubleshooting ; life cycle cost and energy analysis for Labs, Chemical and Pharmaceutical production related HVAC systems. He started his career in 1992. He joined J&J in 1995 as a validation engineer and over the years he assumed different roles covering several aspects of cleanroom and HVAC systems (technical owner, project engineer, start up manager, senior manager HVAC). In addition, he has extensive expertise in the design of HVAC control systems. Being a LEED AP and having a CEM degree, sustainability is key and fully integrated in the design process. Mario is also member of “EGNATON workgroup 8” and the “Belgium Cleanroom Workclub Technical Committee MED”.
