Klaus Fritsch, Ph.D., is Manager Compliance of the Global Business Area “Laboratory & Weighing Technologies” within Mettler-Toledo AG. Klaus has been with Mettler-Toledo AG since 2005. He is responsible for product conformity, and consults the industry to achieve compliance with their applicable regulations when using weighing systems. As part of that role, Klaus is also actively involved in committee work like the GAMP Special Interest Group “Small Manufacturing and Testing Devices” and the USP Expert Panel for General Chapters <41> and <1251>. Klaus received his Ph.D. in Physics by the Technical University of Munich, Germany in 1997. Prior to joining Mettler-Toledo AG, Klaus worked as consultant for the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industry, mainly focusing on risk management and process safety.
