Peter Wilson is an Environmental Manager at Sanofi. He has coordinated pharmaceutical environmental risk assessments for Sanofi since 1990. Peter’s other experiences include 23 years of work in pharmaceutical R&D environmental management including facility design, permitting, operation and decommissioning as a part of an integrated HSE program. He is experienced in radiation safety, sustainable development, emergency management, biosafety and industrial hygiene including 16 years as a Radiation Safety Officer. His current active professional organization affiliations include the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), the Society for Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC), the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturer’s Association (PhRMA) and the Health and Environmental Sciences Institute (HESI). Peter co-authored the environmental chapter of the Good Design Practices for GMP Pharmaceutical Facilities text published by ISPE. He holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biology from Allegheny College and a Masters degree in Environmental Pollution Control from the Pennsylvania State University School of Engineering.
