Erik Roggeman graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, and then proceeded to earn a M.S. in Chemical Engineering, from the University of Notre Dame. After working for some years at IBM supporting computer chip manufacturing, Erik joined Eli Lilly & Co. in 2004 as a process chemist. During this time, he supported the production and optimization of commercial and late-phase development API processes at one of Lilly’s commercial API manufacturing sites, including leading the transfer of a process to an external partner. Following his work as a process chemist, Erik joined the Development Quality Assurance organization, providing oversight for clinical trial APIs produced by the network of Development’s contact manufacturing partners. Most recently, he was named Manager of the Clinical Trial Dry Products QA organization, providing oversight for production of non-sterile drug products for clinical trial use.
