For over eleven years, Chris Moore has been a member of FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies U.S.A., Inc., a contract biotechnology manufacturing company engaged in the development, scale up and manufacture of clinical and commercial products for multiple clients. Chris’s current role as Manager of Downstream Process Sciences includes monitoring process cleaning, equipment design and selection, and process control supporting purification strategies. Chris is responsible for the facility cleaning monitoring program. Group responsibilities have implemented risk assessment methodologies and tool sets to rigorously assess challenges to clinical and commercial processes. Chris has also worked in various positions in Quality Assurance including validation support. This Quality Technical group provides the standards for Validation as well as reviews all protocols, reports and associated documents related to Cleaning, Process, and Equipment qualification/validation. Additional activities included quality review and assessment for critical change control and monitoring cross contamination. Previously, Chris has held positions in clinical laboratories and in small scale production/extraction of biological growth factors. Chris has a BS in Medical Technology from Georgia State University and an MBA from North Carolina State University.
