Rebecca Stanbrook is Group Manager, Inspections (GLP/GCP/PV) at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). She joined the Agency in January 2003 as a GCP inspector. She was part of one of the teams which conducted the first statutory GCP inspections in the UK and played an active role in determining the statutory GCP inspection programme. In July 2004 she was appointed Operations Manager of the Pharmacovigilance Inspectorate, co-ordinating the MHRA statutory Pharmacovigilance Inspection programme and also taking responsibility for the training strategy of the inspectorate. October of the same year saw her promotion to Senior GCP Inspector as well as continuing her Pharmacovigilance role. In her current role she is responsible for the oversight of GCP/GLP/PV inspection programmes. Rebecca brings to the Agency over 11 years experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in various roles, which include Clinical Trial Supplies, Clinical Quality Assurance Auditing and Training and Development. She holds an honours degree in Pharmacy.
