Sabine Knedlik is a process chemical, process safety, and reliability engineer with more than 12 years of practical experience in the specialty chemicals and biotechnology industries as well as in the environmental, health and safety field. Sabine holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, is a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), and currently pursues a Masters of Business Administration from Southern NH University. Sabine is currently working for Shire Human Genetic Therapies as a Senior Facilities System Engineer where she is in charge of analyzing equipment performance and optimizing the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance program. Successful in achieving safety, reliability, and continuous improvement results and leading change initiatives to implement a reliability-based maintenance approach. Prior experience includes working as a Reliability Engineer with Genzyme, as a Senior Process Chemical and Process Safety Engineer at DSM, and as a Water Resources Control Engineer for the San Diego Water Quality Control Board.
