Aaron Pruett is currently a Bioprocess Engineer III in the Drug Product Sciences Department of Human Genome Sciences. He is responsible for fill-finish process development and related technical transfer activities. His areas of expertise include protein pharmaceutical process development (such as scaling and process characterization of freeze-thaw and lyophilization unit operations), biophysical and biochemical characterization of pharmaceutical proteins, and characterization of visible and subvisible particles in protein solutions. His previous experience includes working as an engineer in pharmaceutical process development at Genentech. He received a BS in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University and is currently completing an MS in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University.
