Kai Touw has been working as a process engineer upstream at the Vaccine Process & Analytical Development department of Crucell (a Johnson & Johnson company) since 2011. He works on the development of cell-based vaccine production processes. Furthermore he holds responsibilities in equipment testing and implementation, data management projects and Cost of Goods modeling of large-scale vaccine production processes. Before joining Crucell he was a junior scientist at CLEA technologies working on the development and production of immobilised enzymes. He holds a MSc. in Life Science & Technology from the Technological University of Delft (The Netherlands). Furthermore Kai Touw is Crucell’s representative in the YoungJnJ committee, a cross-company networking initiative for young employees of Johnson & Johnson companies in the Netherlands.
