Kiu Leung earned a bachelor of science, a master of science and a doctoral degree in biochemistry from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He completed postdoctoral work at Dartmouth Medical School, and received a fellowship in immunology from the Research Institute of Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. He was an assistant professor in immunology at both the Waksman Institute of Microbiology at Rutgers University and the Ohio State University Medical Center. He has over 20 years of experience in medical devices, in vitro diagnostics, biologics, clinical reference laboratory and clinical trials at Abbott, Sanofi Diagnostics Pasteur, Specialty Laboratories and Covance. His executive leadership includes quality assurance, regulatory affairs, research & development and manufacturing. At present, he is the principal at Leung & Associates, a consulting company to regulated medical product companies.
