Dr. Oliver Grosche has a doctorate in analytical chemistry from the University of Saarland (Saarbrücken) in analytical chemistry. He has worked since 2001 in Novartis AG Basel, Switzerland in various analytical expert roles. After being involved in the worldwide registration of two innovative drug substances, he moved 2006 to Japan to ensure right first time analytical development to comply with the Japanese Pharmacopoeia. After his return to Basel, he was responsible for leading the Global Analytical Network in Novartis Pharma Technical Research and Development, responsible for the maintenance and implementation of analytical science, standards, processes and regulations. After leading the regulatory surveillance and implementation for Novartis Pharma QA, he is currently heading the Global Analytical Development of Novartis Animal Health. Since 2011, Oliver is leading the efpia subteam on analytical Quality by Design for analytical methods, consisting of subject matter experts from the research based European Pharmaceutical Companies.
