Simon White

  PhotoSimon has 25+ years experience in pharmaceuticals. In his current position he is a member of Pfizer’s Global Logistics Quality Leadership Team, providing oversight and strategic direction of quality and regulatory compliance in product distribution. Simon joined R&D in the UK in 1987 in the development of veterinary medicines, and was subsequently responsible for regional clinical development and global compliance with veterinary Good Clinical Practice. He has experience in veterinary and human pharmacovigilance, EU regulatory affairs, and GMP and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing site supplying global markets. In his current role he has closely followed developments in the EU GDP, and participates in the EFPIA working group assessing impact on industry. He has been based in Sandwich UK, Paris, New York, Brussels and Amboise, and in 2010 completed a GMP inspection readiness assignment in Puerto Rico. Simon is a zoologist (BSc) with an MSc from the Centre for Tropical Veterinary Medicine, University of Edinburgh, and Member of the Society of Biology (UK). He worked for some years in humanitarian aid programs in Nigeria, Kenya and Egypt before joining the Pharma industry
