Massimo Eli works as Clinical Supply Chain Regional Lead for Europe at Merck/MSD. He has a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology and postgraduate diplomas in Toxicology and in Industrial Pharmacy. Mr. Eli started his work experience in 1982, within the R&D department at Farmitalia Carlo Erba in Pharmacokinetics but suddenly (1984) moved to the Solid Dosage Forms Development and Manufacturing till 1994. Then he was in charge of Technology Transfer in the merged Pharmacia and Upjohn company, where he joined the Clinical Supply area in 1996 when the company became Pharmacia. He has been leading the unique non US based packaging site of the company till 2004 when the site was sold by Pfizer to a private owner and he continued in his role till middle 2006. His experience continued with a short period QC director position before moving to Schering Plough at the beginning of 2007 to cover the actual position.
