Koji Kawasaki majored in chemical engineering. In 1997, he founded a company named
Airex Co., Ltd. which business has been mainly design, manufacturing and validations
of the clean room system for pharmaceutical industry. Airex is now mainly driving
emphatically the research and developments of Aseptic Isolators, Containment
Isolators, RABS, and Bio-decontamination system using hydrogen peroxide gas.
Kawasaki is now a leader of SPP COP (the Sterile Products Processing Community of
Practice) Japan and a liaison of steering committee of SPP COP ISPE Head office.
