Donald Eddington joined METALL+PLASTIC in September, 2008, as director of R&D, where he focuses on hydrogen peroxide decontamination applications. Prior to M+P, he held various positions at STERIS/AMSCO starting in 1991 as a Senior Engineer and rising to Director of Process Engineering. His responsibilities included the development and application of hydrogen peroxide sterilization machinery. Eddington received his BS and ME from the University of Florida and his Ph. D. from North Carolina State University. Prior to joining the pharmaceutical equipment industry, Eddington held faculty positions at the University of Missouri and North Carolina State University, where his work involved plant disease control, agricultural chemical research and applications of electronics and control systems for agricultural production.
