Presentation Description: This presentation describes applications of optical spectroscopy based real time waterborne microbial detector in pharmaceutical water systems. The speaker wishes to make a case for the utility of such detectors in economic process verification and process control monitoring in a purified water system. Problem or Opportunity Statement: The primary opportunity for optical real time microbial detector is its potential utility in making process verification of pharmaceutical water system more economic, in facilitating real-time release, and in achieving system optimization. 3.Objectives: Delegates will get a technical outline of a new method for real time microbial monitoring in water, some suggestions in how to use such method in water purification process and application examples for helping in implementing such a method in their facilities.
