ISPE Student Chapter of the Year. And the Winner Is…

Excitement was in the air during the ISPE Annual Meeting in San Diego as ISPE President and CEO Bob Best, announced the winner of the ISPE Student Chapter of the Year…Istanbul University Faculty of Pharmacy! Buket Hekiman, the elated Past President of the Student Chapter, accepted the award, along with their Student Chapter Faculty Advisor, Dr. Ahmet Araman, and the Affiliate Chair, Dr. Unsal Hekiman.

Turkey Affiliate Student Chapter Members are joined by Affiliate Secretary Selim Seyhan, Affiliate Chair Dr. Unsal Hekiman, and Faculty Advisor Dr. Ahmet Araman.

The students had an amazing year ― they planned three plant tours, did a presentation on ISPE during Turkish Pharmacy Week, were featured in an article in their University’s publication, started a student-to-student mentor program, and more than doubled their membership! The Board and the students truly exemplify what it means to be the best. Congratulations to the ISPE Student Chapter of the Year!
