About the Biotechnology COP

ISPE’s Biotechnology Community of Practice is the leading forum for pharmaceutical professionals in the biotechnology sector. With about 1,700 members from around the world, this COP actively creates opportunities for members to get involved. The Biotechnology COP provides a common industry thread by linking the relevant people, content, resources, local ISPE Affiliates and Chapters, academia, regulatory professionals, and other special interest groups.

COP Mission

The Biotechnology COP aims to create a global focal point of support for pharmaceutical professionals operating in the biotech sector. Support means the creation and delivery of training, technical materials and information, and providing opportunities for collaboration and networking. This COP focuses on several core areas including facility design (Mfg. & Lab.), process development, process scale-up, process equipment, disposables, PQLI implementation, media and buffers, operational manufacturing, and compliance.

How to Get Involved

As a Biotechnology COP member you can access technical discussions or download presentations or files. You can complete a volunteer profile and share your expertise with the community. Note that only ISPE Members can engage in these activities.
