Join the Chapter for a program entitled, "Caliber Biotherapeutics: A Case Study for Design/Build of Flexible Facilities" at Rudolph and Sletten in Irvine.

Synopsis:
The new Caliber Biotherapeutics facility is now in operation in College Station, Texas. Caliber was designed to produce biotherapeutic proteins using the plant-made pharmaceutical (PMP) platform. The building was designed, built and commissioned in less that two years, on budget, and fully functional. The build time was less than 12 months. The facility incorporates a flexible downstream modular system that will allow rapid change of downstream processes between campaigns. The 150,000 sq. ft. structure has the capability of producing over 15 Kg or more of purified protein per month. The project was partially funded by a DARPA technology investment agreement and has already produced proof of concept proteins.
