The cost and time required to transfer technology, in many cases, has risen due to inconsistent interpretation of regulatory requirements. The ISPE Good Practice Guide: Technology Transfer presents a standardized process and recommends a minimum base of documentation in support of the transfer request. By defining terminology and processes for Analytical Methods, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), and Dosage Forms, this Guide can help your company find timely and cost-effective methods for transferring technology between two parties.
Don't miss this limited-time offer to download this robust Guidance Document, which usually sells for $145/€115. Offer is available to Members through 31 March 2012.
FREE Concept Paper: Use of Booklet Labels on Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) ( 1 MB)
Booklet labels have been in use in multinational clinical trials for over 20 years as a way to comply with global requirements that IMP labels be in the native language of those taking them. Since no international standard for labeling exists, a broad range of approaches have been developed within the industry. The ISPE IP COP Booklet Labels Task Team has developed a concept paper to reflect on a study site survey performed, to draw conclusions from an assessment on comparison of Booklet Labels versus Single Panel Labels performed, to discuss benefits of a Good Practice Guide, and to define the need for training on the proper use of booklet labels.

The Facility of the Year Awards highlight the best in pharmaceutical manufacturing
The Facility of the Year Awards (FOYA) program is an annual event focused on recognizing state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing projects that utilize new innovative technologies to both improve the quality of products and reduce the cost of producing high-quality medicines. The FOYA program is one way that ISPE, with the help of our fellow sponsors INTERPHEX and Pharmaceutical Processing magazine, works to highlight the important work our Members do every day to help create a safer global medicine supply. This year's Category Winners come from 5 different countries and include novel, low-cost biologics facilities, creative and visionary industry-academia-government collaborations, and hyper-fast-track investments made to ensure vaccines get to patients in need. Read about the 2012 FOYA Category Winners' projects.
