ISPE Foundation & Gilead Sciences Announce Diversity Internship Recipients

17 May, 2023

The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Foundation Diversity Internship Program with Gilead Sciences, Inc. is proud to announce Laura Chau and Vincent Lai as its 2023 internship recipients. Chau and Lai were chosen from a highly competitive group of applicants from across the United States. The ISPE Foundation established the internship program with Gilead in 2020 to provide opportunities to underrepresented groups in the pharmaceutical industry. The interns will support several high-priority engineering and facilities projects and workstreams in Gilead’s Corporate Operations organization.

I'm really looking forward to the experience that the ISPE Foundation Diversity Internship Program offers. I'm excited to work alongside experienced professionals in the industry, take on challenging projects, and gain deeper insights into Gilead’s operations and culture. Overall, I see this internship as a great opportunity to expand my professional network and gain valuable experience that will help me in achieving my long-term career goals.

I'm extremely excited and grateful to start my career with such an amazing company that has talented people and strong core values. I'm looking forward to this new experience and learning from some of the best in the biopharmaceutical industry.
