Ting Wang, PhD, is a Sr. Principal Scientist in the Process Development department at Amgen Inc and leads efforts to enhance raw material understanding and control, through attribute-focused and data-driven approaches. As a member of the US Pharmacopeia expert committee for pharmaceutical excipients, Ting provides expertise for the development and harmonization of excipient quality standards. In addition, Ting is an active member of Biophorum workstreams and contributing to the development and implementation of industry standards for electronic data exchange. Ting has interests in and experience with applying emerging technologies, advanced data analytics, and science and risk-based approaches in the context of pharmaceutical development and manufacture. She earned her PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Maryland at Baltimore and is a member of ISPE, AAPS, RAPS, and ASTM.
