Volunteer Opportunity
The Energy and Environment Task Team is a collaboration team between the HVAC and Sustainable Facilities COPs. The team plans to develop content addressing the problem statement: Actual and perceived internal and external compliance barriers prevent significant reduction of energy consumption in life science facilities. If you are interested in getting involved, contact Nigel Lenegan or Nick Haycocks.

COP Mission

The Sustainable Facilities COP aims to respond, on behalf of the Pharmaceutical sector to the global issue of environmental sustainability for facilities and infrastructures (e.g., demand for reduced carbon emissions and other green house gases, energy usage, and green building design/construction/ operation). The Sustainable Facilities COP provides technical and practical knowledge bases and forums to share, support, and encourage best practice in the design, delivery, and operation of efficient and sustainable pharmaceutical facilities and infrastructures. This includes the development, capture, and sharing of energy benchmarking data, which will enable energy labeling and comparison of complex facilities in an effort to drive continuous improvement.

How to Get Involved

As a Sustainable Facilities COP member you can access technical discussions or download presentations or files. You can complete a volunteer profile and share your expertise with the community.  Note that only ISPE Members can engage in these activities.
