Lead and Manage a Paradigm Shift

Industry 4.0 is becoming a global term. The scope of Industry 4.0 is broad and it could be the next industrial revolution.

With intelligent application of Industry 4.0 concepts into a Pharma 4.0 world, new opportunities to be faster, more agile, and responsive will be addressed. Factories of the future will have to adapt to these concepts in order to stay competitive and survive.

Digitisation is the trigger to automation and end-to-end integration of computerised systems, and that makes Data Integrity an absolute must in this new world.

Mass serialisation is being implemented in many countries to ensure a constant source in safe and consistent supply chain.

Factories of the Future, Pharma 4.0, Data Integrity, and Mass Serialisation set the scene for the 2018 ISPE Europe Annual Conference. These influences and many more will be examined and discussed at our two day conference in Rome, Italy.

Conference Highlights

19 March Executive Forum: Industry 4.0 concepts from other branches will be showcased. What inspires pharmaceutical operations? What does healthcare of the future look like? These burning issues will be presented during our Executive Forum. High-level pharmaceutical executives will provide their perspectives. Insights, from a former EMA member, will highlight the impact that the Brexit will have on the manufacturing environment.
20-21 March

Keynotes: EMA’s update on what is next in regulation and special focus in Annex 1 for aseptic processing will be given.

Industry’s response is the holistic view on the manufacturing control strategy as a main element of Pharma 4.0. An executive view will highlight the role of leadership and culture during this change. Will it be a revolution or more an evolution?

For the first time, an ISPE Young Professional from Europe will deliver a keynote.

  • Assess “4.0 Readiness”, impact analysis, and maturity models; what processes and product designs are needed for process automation.
  • Understand how business process excellence has transformed into data processing excellence as another key success factor.
  • Follow case studies of factories of the future projects.
  • Hear how various companies deal with the challenges of mass serialisation implementation along the whole supply chain around the globe.
