Karleen Kos

  PhotoKarleen Kos is Vice President of Member and Industry Services for ISPE where she is responsible for membership recruitment, retention, volunteer development, Affiliate/Chapter relations, Communities of Practice and other initiatives aimed at creating a high value experience for individuals and a benefit to industry as a whole. Throughout her 25 year career in not-for-profit and association leadership she has held diverse positions including Director of Program Planning and Evaluation for the Alzheimer’s Association, Chief Operating Officer for Metropolitan Ministries, an organization aimed at preventing and alleviating homelessness, and Executive Director of the Archdeacon Gilfillan Center, a treatment facility for children facing severe mental health issues. In each of these roles Kos has been responsible for strategic and operational planning, program development and delivery, budget/outcome management and research. Karleen Kos holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the College of the Ozarks, a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Missouri State University, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida where she was the 2001-2003 Nonprofit Scholarship Award Winner. <>
