Location: Radisson Blu Waterfront, Nils Ericsons Plan 4, 111 64 Stockholm, Sweden
This year’s overall topic is new technologies and innovation, and we are proud to present a diverse panel of speakers not only representing “big pharma”, but also speakers from small start-up companies who offer unique technology with great potential to solve challenges that pharma is struggling with; everything from scale-up of bioprocesses (sensor technology from Freesense) to the handling of prior project knowledge using advanced computer algorithms to forecast project success.
The program, among others, also includes a look into Patheon’s effort to implement solid dosage continuous manufacturing as a part of their CMO services, and Astra Zeneca’s experiences with the construction of a new manufacturing site for biologics. Our keynote speaker is Jesper Bo Jensen, owner of Center for Future Studies, how will give us an inspirational insight into how Industry 4.0 will affect the health system and the pharmaceutical industry.
For the gala dinner we have invited Annie Seel, rally driver and climber of Mount of Everest on a motorcycle, to give us a motivational speech drawing upon the commonalities between what she does and drug development. It’s about dealing with calculated risk with high investment that can lead to a win or end up bruised/off track or worse. This spin is very interesting from many perspectives within our industry.
We hope that you and/or your colleagues will decide to join us at this year’s Annual Meeting. It is only one day and we guarantee a highly relevant program, with time to discuss with speakers as well as participants.
We look forward to seeing you November 9th 2017 in the beautiful city center of Stockholm.
