Miriam Anderson

Miriam Anderson is currently a Senior Materials Analyst at Biogen. Prior to joining the Materials team, Miriam was a Technology Transfer Lead in the Manufacturing Sciences department. Today she brings that experience to the ISPE Biopharmaceutical Conference 2017 to share best practices for transferring process knowledge into a GMP facility. Miriam is passionate about creating efficiency and consistency among teams, and developing strong working relationships. She has enjoyed collaborating and leading within manufacturing, development and support groups throughout her combined 16 years of biotechnology experience at Lonza Biologics, Pfizer (formerly Wyeth) and Biogen. Miriam’s combination of cross-functional leadership, operational experience and appetite for improvement drive her to seek opportunities within all aspects of the business and she strives to simplify complex systems wherever possible. Miriam holds a Bachelor's Degree of Animal Science Bioscience and Technology from the University of New Hampshire and, in the spirit of continuous improvement and professional development, attends specialized professional trainings on an annual basis.
