Monique Sprueill, CQA, CMQ-OE, PMP has 20+ years of experience in commercialization, supplier quality management, process improvement, quality assurance, product launches and systems implementation. She is currently the Director, GCP Process Quality Lead at Bristol Myers Squibb, responsible for designing and implementing end to end quality strategy for Good Clinical Process areas supporting product submissions, Health Authority engagement and complex quality issue management.

Monique's career includes positions at Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Sanofi and Ernst & Young (EY). She led teams that successfully performed technology transfers, continuous improvement, routine operations and consent decree remediation projects. She has also worked as an Advisory Consultant, enabling teams to benchmark current processes, define future state and create roadmaps for transformation.

She is the 2023-2024 International Emerging Leaders Chair. She was the 2022-2023 President of the ISPENJ Chapter. She has been an active ISPE member since 2002. On the International level, she was the Membership Development Chair in 2011 and member of the Young Professional/Emerging Leader Committee 2017-present. She also served on Foundation Board and Foundation Sub Committee (2020-2021) for increasing the diversity of college students entering the Pharma industry. In this capacity, she reviewed student resumes and contributed to discussions to aid in the selection of diverse candidates for Summer Internships at Pharma companies who partnered with the ISPE Foundation. She has served on the ISPE Boston, Del Val and NJ Board of Directors in various roles including Communications, Membership and Student Activities Chair.

She has a passion for encouraging students to pursue a career in Pharma/Biopharma. She mentors and connects students, young professionals and those who are transitioning into the Pharma industry with colleagues and associates who can help with professional and personal advancement.

Monique holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a M.S. in Engineering Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). She is an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and Certified Manager of Quality -Organizational Excellence (CMQ-OE). She is also a Project Management Professional (PMP). She is also a member of the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) Industrial Advisory Board (Chemical & Materials Engineering), Parental Drug Association (PDA) and Drug Information Association (DIA).
